Location and Facilities

We are housed in the Speech and Hearing Science Building at 901 S. Sixth Street, Champaign, IL 61820. Our resources include a lab (B24) where our equipment is located and a single-walled Whispering Room (B34) (interior dimensions: 226 × 287 cm and h = 203 cm).

Equipment

Our equipment includes Head and Torso Simulator (HATS), BAS006 Impulsive Sound Source (Clapper), calibrators, recorders TASCAM DR-44WL, Closed Back Headphone: Tascam TH-03, Studio monitoring headphones: Shure SRH840, Open headphones: HD600, Sound Level meter/Microphone: Ling WAVES IEC 651, Microphone: MA220, NTi Audio.
